Quite possibly the most charming town in America. At the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains, nature abounds, while signs of history are everywhere you turn.
With ties to colonial America, Charlottesville and the surrounding area has greatly impacted our prospering nation — Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, James Monroe, Meriwether Lewis, and Zachary Taylor have all called this beautiful oasis home.
Walk the historic downtown mall with a coffee in hand, window shopping or perusing book stores. Without little ones under foot, you are guaranteed to come home refreshed.
Being on the downtown mall, CitySpace is only a hop, skip, and a jump away from used bookstores, culture, and a variety of dining choices. Hit up the downtown market to grab a quick, affordable option, or decide to enjoy the beautiful weather and eat outside at one of our many local eateries.
While parking can be an issue downtown, CitySpace is attached to the Market Street parking garage, and we will cover that expense.
With all that Charlottesville has to offer — the history, the wineries, the University of Virginia, there is an endless supply of lodging options. You can choose to stay at one of the nation’s many hotel chains, or opt for the more intimate feel of an Airbnb in one of our historic neighborhoods.
Given the ideal tourist location, though, we do encourage you to book lodging sooner than later.
